Dr. Seuss once said:
"You know you're in love when you can't fall asleep because reality is finally better than your dreams."
I hate to disagree…but love can't possibly be reduced to the resolution of one’s dreams. Where does he leave unrequited love? Or crossroad lovers at the very least...
It is well known that love comes and goes as brutally and selfishly as possible, but what’s more delectable than finding yourself having trouble to sleep because your day dreams don't stop taking over your reality? Even if it never turns into something better than a fantasy…
So…to me, it’s a bit more simple. It goes like this:
“You know you’re in love when you listen to a ridiculously corny song and your heart fights to burst out of your chest."
Whether you are dreaming awake or breathing a reality...it almost doesn't make a difference...it's love all the same.
